Rest In Peace, Tatay Ruby

As Tatay Ruby was taken to his final resting place last August 31, his family and friends reminisce the things he has done, some awkward yet amazing.


He was a varsitarian at a leading university in the province ,though he was of short height. He was amiable and congenial to his former classmates and alumni. Member of the respected Dalton clan in their province.

To his relatives, Tinaw's kin as well - to whom they are somehow related, he was amazingly known as an inspired and driven fellow. Smart, decent, with impeccable taste for quality. One could say his stature was similar to their relative who is a prime example of good conduct and intellect. Yes, intelligent was the word best to describe him.


He worked as a gold miner at Freeport Indonesia Inc gold mining. To his OFW co-workers at Freeport Indonesia Inc gold mining , he was well-respected too. Fondly remembered as a good leader and good advisor to his Pinoy workmates. Also fondly remembered as an awesome basketball player at the Freeport Indonesia basketball games during the 80's and late '90s.

Dashing fellow who treats ladies right, made them feel special whether they are close relatives, acquaintances or strangers. He was that kind of a socially adaptable person. Yes, this is one interesting trait about him, as his children joke about it sometimes. -he had an eye for beauty and form in women. If he were in the online business, he would pass as a love dating online expert advisor. As Pitt says, he exactly told her to treat her men right with love, caring and
respect so in turn she would also be treated well.


One other amazing thing that his brother Uncle Hugo Boss and his children exclaim, he married Auntie Insurance at the local Catholic church - alone. No relatives from his side of the family, no groom's entourage. He shouldered all the budget for their marital rites, stood his ground. It was a risky deed for him as during that time Auntie Insurance was surrounded by her politician relatives who tolerated no nonsense. As they look at his photos in his necrological rites slideshow, he looked dashing and debonaire like Al Pacino. Indeed, like how Al Pacino dressed!

And despite all the events that happened, Bodoy strongly believes he loves all his children whether they were rumored by his former wife, Nanay Lemon Law, to be adopted children or not.
