Today is the death anniversary of Bokal and Maria's son, who was then 4 years old.
The child's death was big news in their town because he was hit by a Five Star bus.
Bokal and Maria still feel guilty over his death, blaming on the circumstances that lead to his death.
That was the day Bokal and Maria had a fight and wanted to call it quits. The plan that morning was Bokal was going to look for a place to move to.
That morning, the child overheard them. He told Maria, "Don't cry Mama, I'll give you your gift later" It was going to be Maria's birthday on the 29th. Maria was surprised and replied, "But my birthday is still days away.." The child said, "No, I'll just give you my gift this afternoon"
A little while later, the child told Bokal, "Papa, take your vitamins. I'll give it to you now." The child indeed gave him his vitamins and was extra sweet that day. Not even fighting with his cousins.
That noon, the child, with his yaya, were on their way to school riding a tricycle. The yaya changed plan and stopped awhile on the side of the road to make a short trip to the TSPI. The child was left inside the tricycle. A while later, he was into some mischief and got out. Later he playfully ran toward the other side of the street and back. His yaya saw him and told him to stop. But then again he went, with so much glee. A Five Star bus was heading their way, unfortunately the bus driver - according to passenger-witnesses- was texting, did not see the child ahead and hit him. The child was thrown 20 feet away from the site. He was rushed to the hospital was declared dead on arrival. He did not make it. He gave his life that day as a birthday present, as Maria realized.

Taba is getting puzzled because of their silence :Bokal, Tokak and Valentino do not call her nor anyone in Canada (Are you sure?), Piit just emails about the motorcycle of Valentino and HOW HARD life is in Macau, Maria is silent, and Piit's Son emailed to remind his Aunt Taba of the "pawned" motorcycle.
As Bodoy would advise Taba, it's best to keep quiet too and not dig in for details out of curiosity. As they say, it's bliss not knowing anything. It's better to lead our own lives quietly. Always remember what you sow is what you reap. Sow calm and contentment, you will reap the positive benefits of your action.

Are you still in the family? Then solve Tokak's problem
That's the number to call. Solve it. Call them, ask for a settlement.
Give back Taba's money, supposedly for bail, and use it for Tokak's settlement with the guy above.
Poor Tokak, jailed then bailed but never settled. Only promised empty promises and the rest of the gang ran away with his bail money allegedly used it for placement to Macau. We mean, what were they hiding from, what was the rush?
Are they truly involved with Tokak's arrest? Were they the ones who gave the tip to the company?
Let's find out. Let's call them.

Wanna here the latest news, or the "subaybayan" from Tokak's Arrest?

Here is what happened:
Toklang cannot be contacted for her help. She refuses to help with rectifying Tokak's wrong doing. But she is open for communication.
Bodoy is constantly and repeatedly called the bad guy in telling the cops. Since Tokak was arrested he called Toklang, Taba and Papa Robi back to back to back, round the clock to give them updates. But it came to a point that Taba believed Bodoy did it, and so she hurriedly sent the money for Tokak's bail because of Piit and Bokal's continous reports that Tokak was being tortured in jail.
Piit goes here and there, called Papa Robi and Taba telling them all the drama, telling them that Bodoy reported Tokak to the cops. She took Tokak's kids to her home while he was in jail, cared for them, but called Taba and Toklang often to report that the kids are sickly (which isn't true)
Bokal beats all their defenses for his own motives, and now his wife Maria is with him. As Taba once said,"They are conniving with each other, buying prepaid load to call me, spending hundreds of pesos alternately calling me. This must be business!" But as you readers would find out in the end, Taba gave in and sent the bail money after all.
Tokak, as of this time and since June 6, is now released on bail. At first, his brother Bokal and sister Piit were hot for his case. But right this very day, he is being left out and was left "natutulog sa pancitan" not knowing what is happening. (because he just found out Piit and Maria went to Macau to work last Sunday) SAY THAT AGAIN? Yes! They did! Are you dizzy too? Well, I am also!
Taba, the poor girl, is the dehado of them all. After sticking to her resolve not to meddle in Tokak's affairs and have them all settle this themselves, changed pace when she was rattled by Piit and Bokal's phonecalls. So she talked to Papa Robi that they must send money 50% each. And Papa Robi and Step-stepmother agreed but they need to cash out their checks first so can Taba just go ahead and they will pay her back later. All was done.
Now, now, it's June 17 almost 2 weeks since bail. Papa Robi has not handed in his part, Taba needs that very badly because she just lost her nanny job, Bokal declared the bail money quits because it will go to surety (which was not there before), Tokak sang that Maria (also a surety agent) was with them in Zambales settling the bail after all, Piit and Maria are now in Macau after (allegedly) paying 20,000 each in placement fee, Toklang helping them settle their custom fee of 2500 each, and the worst news Bokal threatens to drop Tokak if he tells all that the 21,000 for the bail was not used for that at all.
In the meantime, I, PYT, stay out of it. What you sow is what you reap. So please, always decide maturely in everything so that your mistakes will not come back to haunt you.

Thank God, Tokak isn't in the jailhouse anymore, otherwise he'd be practising with these guys. Well, I admire these guys because they see the bright side of life and refuse to accept their plain circumstances.
