In the midst of all the turmoil in the family - over SSS claims, over conjugal properties, over siblings bickering, over one sibling - Pitt- playing the game for both sides (Auntie Insurance and Caregiver Lady)and over a lot more issues..... Caregiver Ladyfinally moves out of her previous residence and got a new one near her current place of work.

How was she able to get a new home? Easy. She applied for a home owner loan and was approved! Though there is some skepticism there from Toklang.

Since she heard from her employers that home loans are recent craze in the loan market these days, she tried her luck. Knowing Caregiver Lady, home constitutes as the largest asset that usually adults have. While purchasing a home, she knows she needs to come up with a very huge amount of money. From her experience with the mortgages of Tatay Ruby and Auntie Insurance before, she knows that some people are likely to face problems, paying out the whole money together for the house, while some can’t even afford to invest money for the home of their choice.

With home owner loan, this surely does help her meager funds to have a home of her choice and at a fantastic location too!

Auntie Insurance SSS Filing Of Death Claim Was Rejected

Many changes occurred, many plans were not met, plenty of promises were not kept. Especially promises made when Tatay Ruby was still in palliative care at the Vancouver General Hospital and when Auntie Insurance was still in Canada making arrangements for her travel to the Philippines.

Again, it may be all be because of poverty, money and lack of integrity.

Auntie Insurance decided for Tatay Ruby's grown children who were present - Bodoy, who is 39, and High Finance Woman, who is 38. Auntie Insurance decided to file for SSS death claim, proceeds of which, according to her - should go straight to an ATM provided by SSS office that she will take with her back to Canada.

Alas, the filing did not go through due to insufficient requirements to do so.

Auntie Insurance lacked a few papers such as the affidavit of discrepancy of surname; date of birth; and a few others.

What was known :

*she filled out the form under date of marriage as September 4, 1997. But truth is it should be July 4, 1989. What gives?

*asked if the deceased has dependent children, she replied "None". But the truth is they have an adopted daughter. So does it mean the daughter is not legally adopted?

*she was hiding the details of Tatay Ruby's death certificate, funeral receipts in Vancouver and other papers. Quick eyes saw that Tatay Ruby's funeral director was First Memorial after all. It was 3 blocks away from their domicile indeed. Refer to this butterfly's previous post

Gone was Auntie Insurance's promise at Tatay Ruby's casket that she will leave the SSS claims to his children. Gone was her statement to High Finance Woman that the SSS burial benefit claim can be claimed by Personal Injury Solicitor if he wanted to. Gone was her statement that "she will not eat the SSS burial and death claim" when she received a threatening voicemail from Personal Injury Solicitor before.

When you consider what God has done for us, saving us from our sins, and that the scriptures say those who are saved are adopted by God, then it is clear that God treats the adopted children (and one would presume stepchildren if it were possible) the same as the natural son. If God treats us that way, then we ought to treat children who are not our birth-children the same as if they were.

Auntie Insurance Rebooks Her Flight To Vancouver

As it is expected, a need for Auntie Insurance to rebook a flight arose. This happened due to a schedule change. The original flight may have been canceled. Or it happen because she had to change her travel plans due to her jobs in Vancouver demand.

Now the question of the change fee occurs before a cheap first class ticket is issued, the airline will not charge a penalty, although Auntie Insurance's travel agent may ask for a service fee. If the change occurs after a cheap first class ticket is issued, a change penalty as specified in the fare rules of the original ticket applies, if you are responsible for the change. If the airline is responsible for the need to rebook a flight, no change penalty will apply.

Posting this was deemed important because Pitt asked Tinaw what the difference between an open ticket and a rebook flight is. Auntie Insurance divulged to Pitt she has no money spared for Pitt's electricity bill now and so this question.

Pitt Makes An SSS Online Inquiry

Knowing Tatay Ruby's SSS Number, Pitt makes an SSS Online Inquiry to know the current status of her father's SSS affairs.

SSS Online Inquiry is a service by the Social Security System of the Philippines that provides updates on member transactions, sickness benefits,death benefits, SSS ID, and others. It is easy to register and login for a member contribution information on the SSS Philippines website.

One needs to login using User ID and password when first registered for an account.

During the first few days of investigating the matter thru her friend working at the SSS, she found out that the marriage of Tatay Ruby and Nanay Lemon Law is still active. That got Pitt excited to conclude that maybe Auntie Insurance's marriage to Tatay Ruby is not registered and that Auntie's claim will be blocked. Pitt also sought counsel from SSS Online Inquiry and heard that her stepmother Auntie Insurance can file a claim - thereby submitting all pertinent papers they've been wanting to get hold of - and then will be blocked. After that, copies of those pertinent papers will be given her for her legal purposes.

High Finance Woman Gets NSO Marriage And Birth Certificate

Pitt gets certified copies of NSO Marriage Certificates and NSO Birth Certificates to support their claim at SSS Philippines. But due to the enormity of the issues, she and her siblings may need an NSO Case Lawyer to defend the veracity of their documents.

She first inquired days ago for NSO Birth Certificates of herself, Bodoy and Caregiver Lady. All the NSO Birth Certificates were verified and accurate with the exception of a few discrepancies like their (1) parents' date of marriage; (2) their father's name spelled wrong; (3) their mother Nanay Lemon Law's different middlenames and (4) the AGE of Nanay Lemon Law at the dates of their birth! This made her laugh harder and comment, "What kind of parents are they... not knowing what they write in their children's birth certificates!" To which this butterfly comments, "Maybe they were too harried in filling out the forms -from paying the hospital to caring for the children at home. Can you imagine yourself giving birth with other children ages 4,3,2 holding on to you by your hospital bed?" :)))

Today, she inquired for NSO Marriage Certificate of Tatay Ruby and Nanay Lemon Law. Only to come out NSO Marriage unregistered.

She inquired for NSO Marriage Certificate of Tatay Ruby and Auntie Insurance. High Finance Woman was shell-shocked! The NSO Marriage Contract of Tatay Ruby and Auntie Insurance is registered!

She was so disturbed over the matter of their legitimacy as children and their legitimacy as heirs to their Tatay Ruby's estate.

For now, seeking counsel from an NSO Case Lawyer is her best move.

Personal Injury Solicitor claims that Auntie Insurance's kin hired men to spy on him for the fee of 50,000. These hired men, allegedly, as Personal Injury Solicitor observed- circled the area for 2 days near his police station where he is assigned. Then on the 3rd day, one of the two men just barged inside Personal Injury Solicitor's police station and inquired, " Where is Inspector Mills?" not knowing who Personal Injury Solicitor- this Inspector Mills - he is referring to is a raging, hard-hearted cop 24/7. Before the man realized his mistake, he was collared and whisked off for thorough investigation.

Here's the question... is this story for real or just a figment of High Finance Woman's imagination? If this is real, why hasn't Personal Injury Solicitor filed the charges pronto? What gives, High Finance Woman? What gives, Personal Injury Solicitor? And if this is true.. what gives, Auntie Insurance?

Auntie Insurance Allegedly Receives Death Threat Manifestation

Just this afternoon, Auntie Insurance and their adopted daughter went to visit Tatay Ruby's grave. They found out that Tatay Ruby's funeral tarpaulin poster was rolled out with 4 bullets lain on top and with 8 candles to match. Allegedly,four bullets were from a 9MM, .38,.45 and m16.

Auntie Insurance took this as a continuing threat from the rest of the siblings and asked Bodoy, who was from another town, to file this "threat" for her। What do you think, dear readers? Will it be considered valid and admissible in court?

Truth is Bodoy knows he cannot get involved because he did not receive those threats, he is not a resident of that town, and he only has secondhand information from Auntie Insurance.

Now, Auntie Insurance insists on consulting personal injury lawyers in this matter. She just wishes a Canadian criminal defense attorney could be reached for advice, as she is a Canadian citizen.

Rest In Peace, Tatay Ruby

As Tatay Ruby was taken to his final resting place last August 31, his family and friends reminisce the things he has done, some awkward yet amazing.


He was a varsitarian at a leading university in the province ,though he was of short height. He was amiable and congenial to his former classmates and alumni. Member of the respected Dalton clan in their province.

To his relatives, Tinaw's kin as well - to whom they are somehow related, he was amazingly known as an inspired and driven fellow. Smart, decent, with impeccable taste for quality. One could say his stature was similar to their relative who is a prime example of good conduct and intellect. Yes, intelligent was the word best to describe him.


He worked as a gold miner at Freeport Indonesia Inc gold mining. To his OFW co-workers at Freeport Indonesia Inc gold mining , he was well-respected too. Fondly remembered as a good leader and good advisor to his Pinoy workmates.
