So many events missed to log on lately

So many many goings on not recently written here. Sorry readers for the long long respite.

Here's brief news:

Mother Jones recently gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. The baby is so cute and lovely. Mother Jones, however, is still into pre- and postpartum paranoia accusing Taba of having an affair with Casino Boy.

Bodoy is busy working under a popular political line-up, in support of a congressional slate. Yet always receives letters, notices for Tokak's qualified theft case. His family is already annoyed.

High Finance Woman allegedly still in China, according to her son. She came home late last December and stayed for 4 days only, left on New Year's Eve (so unusual) Yet Taba insists she heard High Finance Woman is in the Philippines and still asking help from Auntie Insurance to apply anew.

Personal Injury Solicitor no significant news. Still at work, going to transfer to another town. Texts and calls Bodoy, who pretends to listen.

Tokak is in trouble. He has never attended his hearings since time unknown. Police authorities insist he is not attending and his second warrant of arrest is due. Tokak, however, says all his hearings were either rescheduled or the second party was

Nursing Assistant College Degree For Bodoy's Eldest

Looking into a career as a nursing assistant, Bodoy's family consider the options for obtaining the the degree vied for in the newly chosen field.

There are many options to consider when deciding to go into nursing assisting as a career choice. Many city and state level colleges will offer programs to help one start as a Nursing assistant however one of the more popular methods for obtaining a nursing assistant certification is through a vocational or career training school.

While one can expect to make good money as a Nursing assistant, some of the schooling to get started will be an expense needed to seriously consider and plan for.

On the average, Nursing assistant school vocational colleges ranged between Php150,000 and Php400,000 to get the certification needed to get started right away. A few schools have all expenses included however others do have material fees of up to $100,000 which will want to be considered when making the choice of an educational institution.

A few schools such as American career colleges offer not only Nursing assistant educations but also dental assistant, pharmaceutical, x-ray, and nursing educations all under one roof. One of these type schools might be a great choice if one is not 100% sure that a career as a Nursing assistant is the final destination. By going to a college or career center that offers multiple medical field positions you will be putting yourself in a great position to see exactly what all of your options are when considering a career in the health industry.

A school such as this also would be a great place to continue your education after receiving your certification a Nursing assistant, to possibly move up to a carrer as a RN or even possibly continue your education in the future to become a doctor.

Starting now and an industry that is growing as rapidly as the health care industry is in today’s world is a great way to insure you will have the skills necessary to maintain an excellent career in the health field.

With the skills you are about to learn as a nursing assistant you’ll find jobs are not hard to find if you are skilled and professional at your newfound craft.

There’s a great sense of self-satisfaction to be had in knowing that you’re doing something that helps other people and improves the quality of life for many.

One area to consider if you like children is to specialize in medical practices that cater specifically to children. Specialized practices like this are a great way to carve yourself into a niche area of the market that is always guaranteed to be highly profitable and busy.

Working with children can be one of the most rewarding parts of a nursing career and I highly recommend it as a specialty area for anyone considering a career in dentistry that also has a fondness of children.

So whether you’re deciding to go into nursing assistant career college as just a stepping stone for a degree for nursing or doctorate, or if working as a Nursing assistant is to be your final destination, congratulations on your choice to look into the Nursing assistant field and may have much success in your endeavors.

Becoming A Nurse Assistant Is Bodoy's Eldest Chosen Degree

Notes from Bodoy's eldest son, straight from his hand-me-down notes:

If you enjoy helping other people, a career in the medical field might be for you. The field is always in demand of qualified compassionate individuals who are willing to put forth their best efforts to help others. A Nurse Assistant is an entry level position that will allow you the opportunity to help others and gain experience in the medical field.

Since Nurse Assistants are needed throughout the Nation, you will be able to secure employment opportunities most anywhere. Job security is very high in most areas of the medical field. The training programs to earn your certificate all vary depending on state regulations. However, most can be completed in four to six weeks on average. The cost of such programs is very low.

If you need assistance with the cost of the course, many programs offer scholarships or financial aid. In addition, many community agencies such as Human Services will assist you with the cost of completing such a training course. Some employers in the medical field will agree to either pay for your Nurse Assistant training or reimburse you upon successful completion of the program.

Most Nurse Assistant programs start every six to eight weeks. It will depend on the length of the course and the interest in your particular area. This is different than most certificate programs where you have to wait until a full semester ends before you can enroll. Sometimes that can mean a three or four month waiting period.

During your Nurse Assistant training, you will attend a classroom learning environment as well as receive hands on training. The hands on training requires you to complete a certain number of hours, called clinicals, working at a medical facility with actual patients. All of your work will be overseen by trained professionals who with assist you with the proper procedures and medical understanding.

The combination of classroom learning and clinicals will result in you being well prepared to enter the job market as a Nursing Assistant. Often, the medical site that oversees the clinicals will offer employment to those students who are learning well, following procedures for their facility, and who have a positive attitude.

Working as a Nurse Assistant can be very exciting and rewarding for the right person. The work is challenging and you may find yourself over extended at times. Things in a medical setting will change all the time, so the job definitely isn’t predictable. There are so many variables including the patients, then number of patients, other staff, and the medical needs of the patients that you work day with never be predictable.

While being a Nurse Assistant is an entry level position, it is also a very important position. You will be responsible for many daily living tasks for each patient. These tasks include bathing, grooming feeding, and checking their vital signs. You will also be responsible for assisting with medical equipment and moving patients as needed. The exact requirements of the position will vary depending on the facility you work for.
Becoming a Nurse Assistant generally does not take very long. You will continue to learn about your role as a Nurse Assistant once you secure employment. You will be exposed to medical information and procedures by the rest of the staff. This information will be very valuable. Many people choose to use the role of Nursing Assistance as a foundation to continue their education and become a Nurse or to explore other types of employment in the medical field.

Let's Play Othello

Wanna here the latest news, or the "subaybayan" from Tokak Suave's Arrest?

You will find most of the updates from D Family Dynamics Twitter page.

Here is what happened:

Mother Jones cannot be contacted for her help. She refuses to help with rectifying Tokak Suave's wrong doing. But she is open for communication.

Bodoy is constantly and repeatedly called the bad guy in telling the cops. Since Tokak was arrested he called Mother Jones, Caregiver Lady and Tatay Ruby back to back to back, round the clock to give them updates. But it came to a point that Caregiver Lady  believed Bodoy did it, and so she hurriedly sent the money for Tokak's bail because of High Finance Woman and Personal Injury Solicitor's continous reports that Tokak was being tortured in jail.

High Finance Woman goes here and there, called Tatay Ruby and Caregiver Lady telling them all the drama, telling them that Bodoy reported Tokak Suave to the cops. She took Tokak Suave's kids to her home while he was in jail, cared for them, but called Caregiver Lady and Mother Jones often to report that the kids are sickly (which isn't true)

Personal Injury Solicitor beats all their defenses for his own motives, and now his wife Pc Car Insurance Mistress is with him. As Caregiver Lady once said,"They are conniving with each other, buying prepaid load to call me, spending hundreds of pesos alternately calling me. This must be good business!" But as you readers would find out in the end, Caregiver Lady gave in and sent the bail money after all.

Tokak, as of this time and since June 6, is now released on bail. At first, his brother Personal Injury Solicitor and sister High Finance Woman were hot for his case. But right this very day, he is being left out and was left "natutulog sa pancitan" not knowing what is happening. (because he just found out High Finance Woman and Pc Car Insurance Mistress went to Macau to work last Sunday) SAY THAT AGAIN? Yes! They did! Are you dizzy too? Well, I am also!

Caregiver Lady, the poor girl, is the dehado of them all. After sticking to her resolve not to meddle in Tokak's affairs and have them all settle this themselves, changed pace when she was rattled by High Finance Woman and Personal Injury Solicitor's phonecalls. So she talked to Tatay Ruby that they must send money 50% each. And Tatay Ruby and Auntie Insurance agreed but they need to cash out their checks first so can Caregiver Lady just go ahead and they will pay her back later. All was done.

Now, now, it's June 17 almost 2 weeks since bail. Tatay Ruby, as alleged, has not handed in his part, Caregiver Lady needs that very badly because she just lost her nanny job, Personal Injury Solicitor declared the bail money quits because it will go to surety (which was not there before), Tokak sang that Pc Car Insurance Mistress (also a part-time surety agent) was with them in Zambales settling the bail after all, High Finance Woman and Pc Car Insurance Mistress are now in Macau after (allegedly) paying 20,000 each in placement fee, Mother Jones helping them settle their custom fee of 2500 each, and the worst news Personal Injury Solicitor threatens to drop Tokak Suave if he tells all that the 21,000 for the bail was not used for that at all.

In the meantime, I, Dbourne, stay out of it. What you sow is what you reap. So please, always decide maturely in everything so that your mistakes will not come back to haunt you.

Remember, God is always watching!

Invest In IRA With Tatay Ruby And Toklang's Lesson

Here's a good example of why you should start saving sooner rather than later.

Tatay Ruby and Toklang are both in Vancouver as immigrants. Both have worked and invested their earnings. The difference, however, Tatay Ruby (now 65) has set up an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) when he was 20 and contributed 2,000 per year until he was 40. Toklang didn't start her IRA until she was 40 but continues to put in 2,000 per year. Both of them earn 10 percent per year. Who do you think will have more money in the long run?

Do the math, and you'll find that Tatay Ruby has almost Php1.25 million, and Toklang, who puts in 25 percent more, by her 65th year will have less than Php200,000. That's the miracle of compounding.

Coping With COPD

Inspiring story of coping with COPD.

My husband was diagnosed with a 9.2 cm abdominal aneuyrism. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Before he got to the operating room it had burst. His blood pressure dropped to 35. The doctor did wonders along with the law of attraction. The doctor gave my husband a 5% chance of making it through the night. I looked at the doctor and said 5% is better than 2% and I'll take the 5%. The doctor didn't know my husband's medical history, so COPD was an issue. The doctor said that there were going to be issues of kidney failure, paraplegia, and 100 other things that could go wrong. I stayed with my husband for 2 days and 3 nights before I went home to shower and tend to chores. Every day I drove 100 miles round trip to see him. He had anxiety attacks, hallucinations, new surgery technics from CA, etc. And all the while I didn't have one single doubt that he was going to make it. On May 15th I got to bring him home. The one thing that he did lose, at this time, is the sight out of his right eye. Nothing more.

But with the law of attraction that is going to come back. I have faith. We still travel 100 miles round-trip to wound care three times a week, as he still has a hole in his chest about the size of the palm of my hand and they are working to get that closed. The bills are high, but our spirits are higher. His paycheck is still coming in and will continue, so we have no problem with our finances even though I had to leave my job to stay at home with him. He is a living miracle!!! To be given a 5% chance of making it through a night on that day to being home sitting on the deck three months later is a miracle. We still have a journey ahead of us, but it is one worth taking and sharing with my husband. God Bless!!!

Caregiver Lady Can Learn A Legal Lesson From This

After Caregiver Lady's recent problem from her recent trip to the Philippines, she should learn from the legal advice below on separation and child custody for OFWs in Canada.

Dear PAO,
My sister-in-law is in Canada right now and she has been there for 3 years . However, during those years that she was working there her husband (who happens to be my brother) had been
living with another woman and they already have a child. Finally, my sister-in-law got her permanent residency in Canada and she wishes to petition her 2 children so she can stay with
them. The problem is, her husband is giving her a hard time. He does not like to cooperate and he did not even bother to accompany his children to get their passports. The children are
temporarily living with their aunt.

My question is, how will my sister-in-law file for full custody over her children? She is in Canada and she cannot go home because of financial difficulty. Can her children travel without the
permission of their father?

XXX

Dear XXX,
The problem of your sister-in-law is common in our society. It is very disheartening but we cannot avoid the reality that children suffer the most in cases where their parents separate because of infidelity and unfaithfulness. However, even with the difficulties which spouses in this situation would encounter in their relationship as husband and wife, they should never forget that their children are not part of their misunderstandings. Hence, the welfare of the children must not be jeopardized just because one of the parents turned astray and reneged on his/her duties and obligations as a parent. The law thus, come into play to protect the welfare of the child.

Relevant laws relating to custody are as follows:

“Art. 209. Pursuant to the natural right and duty of parents over

the person and property of their unemancipated children,

parental authority and responsibility shall include the caring for

and rearing them for civic consciousness and efficiency and the

development of their moral, mental and physical character and

well-being.”

“Art. 211. The father and the mother shall jointly exercise

parental authority over the persons of their common children. In

case of disagreement, the father’s decision shall prevail, unless

there is a judicial order to the contrary.”

“Art. 213. In case of separation of the parents, parental authority

shall be exercised by the parent designated by the Court. The

Court shall take into account all relevant considerations,

especially the choice of the child over seven years of age,

unless the parent chosen is unfit.

“No child under seven years of age shall be separated from the

mother, unless the court finds compelling reasons to order

otherwise.”

From the foregoing provisions of the law, it is very clear that

parental authority is exercised by both the father and the mother

and in case the parents had separated, it is the Court which will

determine who shall be exercising parental authority. This

presupposes however that one parent has filed for a custody

case or for other remedies to severe the marriage bond.

Custody battles may be an independent case or just an incident

to a petition for legal separation or a petition for annulment of

marriage or declaration of nullity of marriage.

It must be noted however that in custody battles, it is the

children who suffer the trauma of thinking that their parents are

quarrelling on who should take care of them, hence,

considerations must be taken into account by both parents

thinking that the primordial consideration is the best welfare of

the child.

You may advise your sister-in-law to talk to her husband first

regarding the welfare of their children. She should try to

convince him that it would be best for the children to be with her

considering that at this time their children are living with their

aunt. If efforts to persuade her husband to cooperate on the

working out of the children’s petition to be immigrants of Canada

fail, your sister-in-law is left with no choice but to file the

appropriate case in court.

Anent your query if the children can be brought to Canada

without their father’s consent, the answer is in the negative.

Notably, their father’s parental authority has not been renounced

by him neither was it divested from him. The law enumerates

the grounds for loss of parental authority, thus:

“Art. 228. Parental authority terminates permanently:

(1) Upon the death of the parents;

(2) Upon the death of the child; or

(3) Upon emancipation of the child (327a).”

“Art. 229. Unless subsequently revived by a final judgment,

parental authority also terminates:

(1) Upon adoption of the child;

(2) Upon appointment of a general guardian;

(3) Upon judicial declaration of abandonment of the child in a

case filed for the purpose;

(4) Upon final judgment of a competent court divesting the party

concerned of parental authority; or

(5) Upon judicial declaration of absence or incapacity of the

person exercising parental authority.”

Having an alleged mistress and a child with his mistress is not a ground for loss of parental authority. Thus, your brother’s consent before the children could travel will still be required by
the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The best solution to the problem is for both your brother and sister-in-law to have mediation and conciliation. They should sit down and talk about and negotiate their differences for the
welfare of their children and set aside first whatever marital problems they have. Your sister-in-law may make the first move to address the problems the soonest and start moving on with
their respective lives.
