Mother Jones Has A Baby Shower

Caregiver Lady and her caregiver friends sponsored the baby shower of Toklang recently.

Celebrating the upcoming arrival of her new baby is exciting but at the same time, it's often a situation in which both Mother Jones and Casino Boy can feel much anxiety. Knowing that she is a third-time parent makes her worry less. By now she already knows that so many different items are needed to provide proper infant care.

The idea of the baby shower came to her as she requested Caregiver Lady to host this party for her. It surely helps relieve the financial burden on these parents-to-be by supplying them with many of the new gadgets, furnishings and accessories they'll need once their baby arrives.

They had a non-traditional baby shower, as you can see Casino Boy in the background, with men around. Probably one of the biggest changes to the baby shower format is that they're no longer exclusively for women. Plenty of men make it onto today's baby shower guest list and those who are invited don't come grudgingly. While they might not play in all the baby shower games, men do enjoy the opportunity to give their regards to the expectant mother- and father-to-be.

In some parts of the world the baby shower is actually held after the baby is born. This makes sense since a baby shower is a celebration of the baby and guests enjoy actually seeing the one who is being celebrated. It's also easier to select gender-appropriate colors and gifts and should the gift need engraving, guests have all the delivery details they need.

Having the baby shower after the baby's birth does make sense, but it's a very busy time for new parents. Plus, many of the baby items the expectant parent(s) need are needed as soon as the baby arrives home. That's why scheduling the baby shower before the baby's birth is the more common option.

The baby shower itself is traditional and for the most part, every shower involves the same activities. Guest lists and invitations need to be created and mailed. The shower location needs to be decorated. Guests expect to be entertained so food, drink and games need to be coordinated. And because it's a special occasion, there might even be a photographer and/or videographer, musician and other special talent participating in the festivities.

Special thanks to Caregiver Lady for the effort that helped pull off a successful special event like Mother Jone's baby shower. It is was a well-thought out plan that includes a timeline and a budget.

Canadian Dollar Bills

One day, I made a "Vision Folder" in my computer. Vision Folder is like a Vision Board but instead of cutting out magazines and gluing them on a wall, I saved images of what I want (dress, car, camera) in a special folder on My Documents. I went to Google and searched up 'money'. One image shows a pile of old $20 that has a different design than the current ones that we usually use. Eerily, when I went to the bank the next day to withdraw money, the teller handed me the same $20 that I saw online together with the other regular bills. It really blew me away because it is rare to see this kind anymore. I instantly remembered the Google image that I saw last night and I just couldn't help but smile. I checked the date of the bill and it says '1991'. It is very old but it could still be used. I am really amazed on how amongst the millions of $20 bills available in the bank, the teller gave me this one. So that's my Law of Attraction story for the day. So I guess my Coach purse, Canon SLR, a boyfriend and Mazda 3 car are next on the list. Thank you, Lord!

Curiosity Kills The Cat, so be careful

It's been quiet lately with these Uzbournes. But it's better than all the noise.

Caregiver Lady is getting puzzled because of their silence :Personal Injury Solicitor, Tokak and Valentino do not call her nor anyone in Canada (Are you sure?), High Finance Woman just emails about the motorcycle of Valentino and HOW HARD life is in Macau, Pc Car Insurance Mistress is silent, and High Finance Woman's Son emailed to remind his Aunt Caregiver Lady of the "pawned" motorcycle.

As Bodoy would advise Caregiver Lady, it's best to keep quiet too and not dig in for details out of curiosity. As they say, it's bliss not knowing anything. It's better to lead our own lives quietly. Always remember what you sow is what you reap. Sow calm and contentment, you will reap the positive benefits of your action.

Are you still in the family? Then solve Tokak's problem

Photobucket

That's the number to call. Solve it. Call them, ask for a settlement.

Give back Caregiver Lady's money, supposedly paid for bail, and use it for Tokak's settlement with the guy above.

Poor Tokak, jailed then bailed but never settled. Only promised empty promises and the rest of the gang ran away with his bail money allegedly used it for placement to Macau. We mean, what were they hiding from, what was the rush?

Are they truly involved with Tokak's arrest? Were they the ones who gave the tip to the company?

Let's find out. Let's call them.

Meanwhile, guys below... show a sign of life.... if you can.

One of my blog posts from my closed blog in 2008-09

This blog post below was written and posted in my closed blog of 2008-2009 (so this entry no longer exists but here in private). It was all about the John's arrest fiasco. I wrote it then to get other people's point of view, you may find the comments at the end of this post. Don't worry, it was all done in anonymity and the commenters I do not personally know but only through blogs.

I can't bear it any longer and I have to tell someone about this predicament my husband and I are in. We've been so caught up in this that we could not think straight. I just want someone else's advice aside from my family and neighbors.

Remember my in-laws that I rarely mention here in my blog except in one Wordless Wednesday and in one blog entry of meeting a long-lost and not-even-met-niece? Yes, they are the ones who have caused us much tension these past few days since May 26th. (click on the links to view)

My brother-in-law J***, who has been in hiding for more than a year now, was arrested for the crime of qualified theft. In this blog, may I say that the damage has been done - as all of us immediate family members and a few baranggay officials here already know the truth.

The very bad news though- my hubby and I are being accused by the family of being tipsters for J***'s arrest. As my policeman brother-in-law A**** texted us that evening, "You must be happy now . J*** just got arrested ." (Masaya na kayo . Nahuli na si J*** .)

We were indignant when we received this text message from A****. My hubby called him to clarify but he wouldn't listen. It doesn't help either that Gr*** would fan the flames every minute she was texted or spoken to. The latest: now that J*** himself got out on temporary bail, he too - despite what he told us weeks ago - believes that we reported him.

We think back to those past few months when my SIL Gr*** and BIL A**** frequently visited us and we welcomed them. We think back where in their minds have they thought of this idea that we gave the policemen or J***'s victim the leading information. I'm really angry for this. I mean really, really angry.
(I'm angry for they are hurting my hubby again, making him feel the outcast in the family sometimes labeling him as the "adopted" It's a long story...)

I tell you, these incidents have happened before many many years ago between their family and us. One family member can just cause trouble and speak lies against one to the other, then all would be chaos and turmoil. It doesn't even help when a parent or both are present because they, too, take sides - oh yes, the parents indeed! In this family a naughty rumor or a lie might as well be chronicled in stone.

There were months or even years that passed that we haven't spoken to them for their accusations or issues. Especially for my policeman brother-in-law, whom my hubby considers his close friend, we haven't spoken to them in 1999-2002 because we sued him and his wife for not paying their debts to us. It took that long for the pain to heal, the debts still haven't been paid but it doesn't matter, because after many years, all went well and all was forgotten. Anyway, they've been a big help also to us when my family hit rock bottom. But my hubby and I just want peace with everyone.

I just feel so betrayed, thinking of all the nice things that happened recently, yet here we are that a huge quarrel has happened again. Made me ask myself if their kindness was all pretense then? What made them think that way about us, after all the good days we've been together? Is it for lack of money or is it for the presence of money? (I told my hubby it doesn't matter - they can hate anybody and they have people for having too much money and even for having none)

To my dear readers, I ask of you, please forgive this very long post. Please try to understand the feelings I have at this moment why this small issue is growing out of proportion.

As God is my witness, the issues and troubles we've experienced with my hubby's family have been countless since we were together in 1992. God knows, we've been kind and pleasing to them. I'm grateful that we were able to bear all that.

Yet, I'm really saddened that they've turned against us for no plausible reason, no single evidence but mere hearsay. It hurts most when this happens within a family and there is no one else who can advise.

I'm making it clear, we have nothing to do with J***'s arrest. Actually, we only knew where he was in January when my SIL L******** from the US together with the family visited him, but we kept mum about it, because we thought of his 2 young girls who need his care now that J****'s wife is in Kuwait. We never said a word.

Imagine also the embarrassment of being frequently visited by the authorities asking where J*** is, we just said we don't know. So we just did as we were told by my other SIL S***** in Singapore to let him be, or let him hide, or let him run away. However, my hubby and I don't know how to reach him.

I know that what we've done is bad (covering him), and against the law, but was it good enough for their family? I think I did the right thing, as a member of the family. Or maybe at the back of my mind, I'm possibly fearful of them, of what their minds can think of. Maybe I'm afraid of them more. Maybe. It confuses me now why we chose to abide by their direction than doing the lawful thing to do.

Now everyone of them believe G****'s story that we tipped J*** off. Sad to say, the remaining family members who may still believe in our story can be easily swayed anytime.

So I'm still here to sort this out. Seeking counselling for this very specific problem. Handling anger, I got it from a friend's blog. But at home, my hubby and I encourage each other that this, too, will pass and the truth will be told. And when all has settled, we must always forgive and get off the bad thought pattern of the family so we don't pass it on to all our children, nephews, nieces, and the next generation.

Dear Chris,
You are very sensive over such an issue often coming up in big families. Just think, firstly you have not reported to police, secondly, even if reported, you are right in reporting. So either way you are right. World is too big to care for others opinions and accusations. A few days back, I hd researched on stresses like this and how to combat -
http://www.theosophus.com/articles/693/manage-yourself-when-mentally-stressed/
Please see coolly, if it helps you and your husband.
All the best,

Chriss
Thanks for your comment, Ram. Thanks for the link too. I really needed someone's opinion about this. I agree, I'm quite a different person when these things happen it's as if I suddenly forget all the positive things I learned. Thanks much for helping me. Keep them coming =)

Hi Chris,
I really feel for you. It is not easy to deal with problems especially when family is involved. What is important is that you and your husband are endlessly supporting each other. It sounds like your in-laws made up their mind from the beginning, do not stress your self out in convincing them the truth because only you know the truth. The truth will always set you free but in their case , they are living in such dream land. People like them know the truth but refuse to embrace so they cope by quickly pinpointing at others.
It just baffles me that your bro-in- law has been hiding which means he is guilty of what ever crime he has done but his family is blinded by it. He has been caught because karma just bite him back. What goes around comes around. Now, you know what kind of people they are and for even treating your husband like that. The fact is we can not please everyone, you don't have to reason with them. Your priority is you, your husband and your kids. Chris, I understand that you want this fix for the sake of your kids but what if it can't be. Do you really want your kids to be exposed to this kind of people. You will never have peace of mind if this happens all the time, it's not healthy. It hurts but you have to take your self out of this equation. You have a limit too. Don't hesitate to ask any advice :)

I think praying for them would make things btter. :)

Kasama ka na po sa aking mga panalangin. :)

Chriss
@Arlyna Thanks for your insight, it's giving me the encouragement that what I've been thinking of all these years, of keeping silent, not being reactive, and staying away from them is right after all. A family friend told me that, too, when I confided in here lately. She says it's been that for long so it's better to stay away for our children's sake. Thanks, Arlyna, God bless you :)

@JDLim Thanks, too, I welcome your views also. Makuha man lang ang kaisipan ng mga tulad ninyong kabataan. I see my own children in you, what they might be thinking when "rattling" things happen in the family. Pinaka-simple na ngang solusyon ang di na lang sila bigyan ng atensyon at ipasa-Diyos na lang ang lahat. Thanks for posting a comment here =)

Hi. It took me a while to finish this post.:)
I somehow understand the side of your in-law. If understanding means putting yourself in the situation where they are in, things will go differently. I think they just 'needed' someone to blame with the situation. Some people are like that.

'Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,w/thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God ;
And peace of God,w/c surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.'

hope that passage helps. =)
Everything happens for a reason.
God Bless you and your family.

=)

Chris,
Pray that their minds will be enlighten and they will see the truth...

and oh, if in some freakin' incident that you and your in-laws bump into each other, just throw your nicest smile on them :)

Godbless!

Hi Chriss,
I really commiserate with your problem and I will pray for you. You were caught in a family squabble that was not of your own making. Your only fault was that you got married to your husband who have this interwoven problems with his family. The best recourse is just to ignore them. You know you are innocent of the thing they are accusing you of and time will reveal the truth of your innocence. You can just pray for them that they be enlightened. In the meantime turn over your problem to the Lord and He will sort out everything. You can only get justice from God and not from this world. People will think what they want to think and no amount of protestations can convince them to change their biased opinions. Just turn everything to the Lord and you will be vindicated at the end. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Cheers and peace to you.

Hi! ate Chris,
so sad to hear this. Mas lalong nakakalungkot at napaksakit lalo ng involve ang family. I hope in you and your husband will resolve this issue. Kaya nyo yan! After all God is Good. He will not give something na trials na hindi nyo kayanin! I wll pray for your family! God Bless..

Hi Chris,

I am so sorry that you are in this situation. I know this could be causing a lot of stress right now but I do agree with Ram, just try not to think about this.

Your life is way to important to spend it worrying on what other people's opinion.

They cause the problem and they should not put the blame on you.

Hi Chris,
I understand the situation you are in, but as long as you know the truth, don't bother yourself about them,(the family) because no matter what you say or do, they will believe what they want to believe. All these will come to pass.Just give all your problems to God,and He will do the rest. If you can stay away from them the better, keep your children away from, for they may imbibe the negativity in them. God bless!

Chriss
Thanks, everyone, I've been reading all your comments often since I've posted this entry. There has been a change in me and my hubby in handling this because of all your advice. We are both thankful to you all.

Indeed, it's time to move on and attend to all the work that we regularly do on the homefront, and giving attention to other more important things like my immigration status, hubby's employment and our eldest son's schooling (he has not enrolled yet, for financial reasons). *sigh*

But all is well, we'll keep focused on our family's welfare and trust the Lord completely in this and in ALL things.

Again, thanks for sharing your views and your advice. I'm amazed, this is probably one of those rare times I'm happy that I'm a blogger with plenty of friends who love and care for me. God bless you all.

Tokak is arrested

Things just happened so fast from the day since Toklang sent the money for enrolment of her nephews and nieces.

On that day, things went a bit haywire. Beginning with High Finance Woman who gave Budoy's share of 2500 instead of 3000. Budoy got mad because of the discrepancy from what Toklang reported beforehand. But no big deal for Budoy.

The next day however... brother and sister blamed Budoy for Tokak's arrest.

To which Budoy hurriedly replied when he called Bokal. Budoy was very furious because he was being implicated as the horn-blower for Tokak's arrest. Budoy ranted and raved at Bokal for falling for High Finance Woman's issues, when in fact he shouldn't have reacted since he is an educated policeman.

In this family, that is the irony for people who are being quiet. That too is the reward for those who have done a good deed despite the huge, insurmountable problems these recalcitrant family members have done to Budoy. Yes, dear readers, I am in favor of Budoy. He is my nephew. I can vouch for his integrity in this issue.

Will keep you posted, readers. In the meantime, will have to quit twitpics for a while.

That's the problem and what's worse, Tokak's in another province now, far from us all. No one will tend to his needs. No one will bring him his needs... food, medicine, and encouragement.
Some people say, he deserves it. Most of us have pity on him because of his 2 children.

Best Student Loan Consolidation For Caregiver Lady

Finally, Caregiver Lady obtained a student loan consolidation to slim down her monthly burden. She reiterates that going to college for her is very important. Thus, despite all the financial burden she will still continue to go to college. Caregiver Lady believes that she has a better future if she is able to finish college in Vancouver in addition to her caregiver course in the Philippines.

To help her with this important goal in her life, she applied before for student loans that are available to help her go through college education. However, just like some students she ended knee-deep in student loans, brought largely by her lifestyle.

No despair though, she just searched around and found the best student loan consolidation entities to help her in the process of getting out of debt. Now that all is clear, this best student loan consolidation will help reduce her monthly payment of up to 50%. No better deal but that!

Reducing her monthly payment will mean that she can have some spare money for sending to the Philippines. Best student loan consolidation will then help her save some money to meet other expenses like car payments, household needs and for sending via online money remittance.

Also, because of the best student loan consolidation program, her credit rating will improve and she can even extend her paying period from the usual ten years to as long as thirty years. Caregiver Lady also found the best student loan consolidation company that will give an additional percentage of interest on top of the savings from the consolidation. This will be good to lessen her monthly burden. Should it be that her student loan is under the federal direct student loans, she can possibly qualify for the best federal direct loan consolidation program.

Best federal direct loan consolidation program, in addition to the 50% or more reduction in her monthly payments, there is a lock in lower interest rate available for Caregiver Lady. This lock in lower interest rate is best for the student loan consolidation program because it will shield the student against inflation rates. It just means that she will not have to worry about additional charges due to the inflation rate fluctuations. To top it all off, the best student loan consolidation deal under the federal direct program is easy to apply, and there are no fees, credit checks, application, or original charges.

Thus, it is a clean way through paying student loans and can even spare some money for other purposes. Is this not the best student loan consolidation program you can ever find?

Congratulations, Caregiver Lady, am keeping my fingers crossed for you :)

Caregiver Lady Seeks Relief From Debt

There are several ways for students to find relief from debt by consolidating their bills. If you are in over your head in student loans, you should be advised that there are several options for relieving your debt.

To get started you, must determine the loan amount and type you owe. Next, you should contact the lenders or college financial agents and request a loan drop. If you are in debt over your head, then this is the best solution for consolidating your debts. If you fail to seek debt consolidation solutions, then you are at risk of lawsuits, tax refund losses, and possibly of risking wage garnishes. Again, whether or not you can ask for a cancellation will be dependent on the type of loan you took out, when it was issued, and for how much it was issued.

While it is not likely, some schools issue loans under fraudulent pretense. If this is true, then you can demand a cancellation of the loan.

Also, if you suffered from an accident or became ill and the injuries or sickness have disabled you for life, then you can ask for a cancellation on the loan. Military personnel and particular organization members qualify for a cancellation in student loans also. If you are able to get the loan dropped, imagine the money you will have to restore your credit and eliminate other debts.

Finally, if you have paid your monthly installments with good faith until times got hard, you may qualify for a postponement in payments. This is called a deferment request. The student lenders may present you with the "forbearance" option if you ask for a deferment. The "forbearance" means that the lenders will reduce your student payments temporary until you are back on track.

As a student, you have numerous ways to manage your debts if you are currently in over your head. Do not assume that there is no solution; instead, spend your time researching instead of worrying.

Is Pitt leaving for Hongkong or not?

Myspace Code Generator
Everyone is holding on. Is she or isn't she?
In the light of these news about Tsip Tsao insulting the Filipina DH, how does Pitt feel? Or will she use this issue to forego her dreams of working there?
Great, she has her proper name now and no longer "Baby Girl" the clerical error. Better, Pitt now has her passport and can buy cheap first class ticket for her flight to Hongkong or Macau!
Problem, she has no employment agency yet. So what gives? We thought she applied to one of those shown on ABS-CBN tv screens for employment assistance. Hmm, maybe she's in Hongkong now, who knows?

Family Tree Fiasco

Note to the readers: we value your comments especially on the issue: the family trees online and privacy. Please share your feedback. thanks!

Caregiver Lady'S STORY TO Bodoy:

Toklang is pissing mad when she found out that they were included in an online family tree at myheritage.com. Caregiver Lady called the Philippines to let the "culprit" know.

This is the reason: some people just don't want to feature their pictures online. Not on flickr, not on facebook, not on any social network! They care for their privacy. They are afraid that some hacker can get to them and find out their address, email address, birthdate.... In fact, there are people in Canada who hack for a living. These people never leave their houses and just sit by their computer all day digging up details and posting scandals!

AHA! Got it straight from them!

The person who posted all his and their family's info on the myheritage.com reasoned back and said: "There's no harm done, actually. It's a private online family tree. Just the close family members can view all our profile. The birthdates where posted there as a reminder in sending gifts or greeting cards. And the pictures posted there were just for a personal family album." All valid reasons yet still very unacceptable to Taba who relayed Toklang's sentiments.

When Caregiver Lady calmed down, she confessed the real catch and all that she witnessed. Toklang is still hiding from some people in the US and Canada whom she swindled. In fact, when her hubby Casino Boy found out about the family tree, he deleted his profile in a snap. He just doesn't want to be connected with her.

Could you imagine the ghosts of her past haunting her now? yes, yes.... a person in US whom she owed $1000, or a few of Auntie Insurance's friends, or even the old age pensioners whom she cared for way way back. How could one forget.... she was in Canada back then and did not work for 5 years straight! She lived and survived on all those wrongdoings with two children under 5.
Oh, yes, how could we forget... she could afford to visit the Philippines twice a year. When asked she would smile and declare "I'm a Mafia!"** **Nanay Patty's monicker during her heydays

Since they do not want to be included in an online family tree, so much the better! Who would want to include them after this confession? To think we fear that the most distinguished and honorable members of the family would FIRST protest their membership because of the existence of the "scalawags" of the family. Turns out the most unworthy would beg off the list.

So here's to you guys, you're cut off from the family. Caregiver Lady does not exist.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

TOKLANG'S STORY TO BODOY:

The family tree doesn't matter. It was Caregiver Lady who panicked when she was her pictures posted there announcing that she was in Vancouver. What's more even pictures of her wards were there, to think these children are the sons of a voice character actress! Privacy please, she screams.

The real catch, according to Toklang, the cat's out of the bag: where Caregiver Lady has been going all this time, who she was with and how many tequila shots she had =)

Toklang Leaving For Canada

What a wreck, what a shame!

They are soon leaving, and leaving all the other siblings in a daze.
Things slowly began to change among them all, with the exception of Caregiver Lady, of course.

A pattern is always left behind when someone from abroad comes home. The idea is to vote off someone in replacement for oneself. Isn't it madness?

Pitt has not reported nor contacted them all. Just individually. Whispering this lie and that. Stoking the embers.

The week before Toklang has purchased Canada airline tickets, it was a Tuesday then, she came to ask for help and degrade or make an issue out of Bodoy's caregiver jobs and asks why Toklang needs to help him.

Why is this so?

Maybe, one thinks that all the things he can get - materially or financially - is not enough from Toklang. Hence, s/he destroys the others.

Prefer TD Canada Trust and Diamond Ring Insurance

After all the tension of seeing and meeting Toklang and family, here we all are.

Everyone has been waiting for the day that they will all meet for lunch or dinner. It was scheduled on a Monday, but had to be later called off due to each person's commitments.

Finally, it was rescheduled for Friday. The waiting people came early around 4 PM. Much to their slight dismay, she has not arrived yet.

Due to High Finance Woman's words (and may we say discouraging words) they were losing heart. High Finance Woman keeps commenting that Toklang told her she has no balikbayan boxes for them all. Later, towards the hours, High Finance Woman hints that maybe Toklang has no time or no money to spare..... later she confesses the issue that Papa Robi raised when High Finance Woman commented years ago that Toklang gives out scraps ("bulok"). And when it was getting dark, High Finance Woman says that maybe Toklang will make them wait.

Then....

Woo-hoo! Toklang and family arrives at 7PM with 3 balikbayan boxes! Yes, High Finance Woman, that's 3. Count 1-2-3, that's for all of you!

What's more, Toklang was not stingy as you dread she would be. She handed each of them 5 for each child and 100 for each sibling. Look here.... kiss your Canadian dollars! We most likely prefer our td canada trust and diamond ring insurance than what they received. Thank!

And the next day, they all went grocery-shopping. One cart for each family. Plus a sack of rice each. They included Tokak's family, shopping for him in his absence.

So to sum it all, Toklang is not stingy as they once feared. She is actually thoughtful. She may have saved so much when she worked so hard, imagine 17 hours straight at a time. But later, when all the gifts and tokens are gone, someone will still complain that they did not receive enough. Who might that be?

And now, it seems, everyone is silent. No one texts, no one calls, no news. That's what we call the worst storm to come ever!

Present Research - Arrived in Manila!

This is the latest we got from the Japan Airlines website. Mother Jones and Casino Boy were able to book a flight to the Philippines. Would have gotten the info as well thru text message but it's not available yet. Oh well, as long as they arrive safe and sound.

And later, it's going to be a long trip back to the province. Good thing I'm not driving today =)

Pretend Tagtime- Papa Robi - Just random facts

Photobucket

*Worked as a miner in Lepanto Mines and some other mining place in Benguet and Mountain Province.

* During his younger days, he was an active member of the Dalton Clan. And still the missed in their reunions. Just mention his name to his fellow classmates they would know it's him.

* Worked in Indonesia as a miner for 10 Years from 1983- 1993. 10 Wasted Years of not accumulating anything substantial. 5 of which 1st Stepmother handled their family budget; 5 of which Toklang et al took over the huge responsibility.

* Now resides somewhere here
Photobucket

* Has had 3 known "long-lasting" relationships with women. One, with Nanay Patty which lasted until 1979; Two, with 1st Stepmother Apolonia which lasted until 1989; Three, with Step-Stepmother Negrita which lasts until forever... we hope. Nothing else happened in 1999, right?

* He is well-respected in the workplace, in his alumni, in his extended family. He has that aura of nobility. He is considered the smartest among his siblings and the most promising too. We sure hope he has maintained that in Vancouver now that he is with his spouse.

* The poor man, because of his hard work at the mines years ago (and the cigarettes), is now disabled with COPD. He can still make it better, with modern medicine but Step-Stepmother prefers to let him that way. Wonder why. The disability benefits, perhaps?

* Loves to help his own brothers than to help his own children. Except for Tokak who has cheated him repeatedly ;-(
