Yes, dear readers, after a long long while living in peace, Auntie Insurance calls Bodoy and Tinaw early this morning regarding the return of her papers that were filed for Tatay Ruby's SSS death claim. (SSS is the local and basic insurance coverage for every Filipino who applies, it could be just the same as abroad's cheap life insurance)
Apparently the papers filed were sent back to Auntie Insurance's local Philippine address - yet from a different branch - not the main branch where they applied. Usual reaction, she gets suspicious on who could be working on the papers now. Did Toklang and Bokal file for Nanay Lemon Law's so-called death certificate? Or did they find Nanay Lemon Law and had her go through with the claims? This grasshopper doesn't think so. Evidence for now shows that there is no claim being filed again.
In the phone conversation, Auntie Insurance declares "I will leave the processing to all of you if you all want to get your Tatay Ruby's SSS death claim" Hmm, why now? And how can this be when receiving remittances and claiming money in this family is like the story "The Cask Of Amontillado"?
